Pastor CD Pinkerton

Known to friends and loved ones as Pinky, is a gifted apostolic speaker, writer, teacher, author and musician who uses his gifts to advance the Kingdom of God. He is a champion of the Kingdom Culture revivalist outpouring that began before the turn of the current millennium.

Pinky came to the Lord during the Jesus People movement of the 1970s. This movement was revivalist and restorative, in nature, function, and operation; as the intent was to move away from the teachings of man and denominationalism; and to return to the teachings of the Bible. He was heavily influenced by Leonard Ravenhill, among others, and felt a calling on his life to help Christians turn away from division and denominationalism, and return to the teachings of Jesus and the early church.

The Lord brought Lissa into his life and confirmed their union in a miraculous way. Pinky and Lissa married, moved to Ironton Ohio, and started attending one of the major denominational churches. Though they were not comfortable with all of the church doctrine, the Lord led them to stay. They became good friends with the different church pastors and their families, and found them all to be truly seeking God's heart.

Pinky preached and taught in this church, and was a musician on the praise and worship team, but didn't fully understand why the Lord was leading them to stay in this church. The answer came when the senior pastor announced that God had been downloading Kingdom teachings into him. He told the congregation that they would be learning about the Kingdom for a few weeks (not yet knowing that Kingdom is not just a message... it is THE Christian message.) Pinky and Lissa were thrilled, and told the pastor that this was the reason that God had directed them to stay in the church.

Since that time, Pinky has joined forces with many like minded pastors and ministers in building the kingdom of God. He has most recently begun missions in Hundoras where there is 150 churches that he travels to and serves.

Pinky has always had a pastoral calling on his life. His wife, Lissa, has always been gifted in the performing arts and has a calling on her life for children's ministries. Once the Lord put them together as a team, and after many words and blessings had been spoken over them from several different ministries, they began to realize their full potential and calling from the Lord, and have become a powerful force in Kingdom Ministry.

Lissa Pinkerton

Lissa hails from the great state of Texas where she first met the Lord at age twelve. She had an on again/ off again relationship with Him until her late twenties when she began going to church on a regular basis. There she found the church to be a place of judgment, restrictions, and condemnation. Coming from a broken home of abuse, neglect, and poverty, she knew that this was not what God had intended for His bride.

After Lissa married Pinky, the Lord took them and their three beautiful children to a new church. There, the place was partially in the same state as she had previously experienced, but this time the Lord told her to hold on. Week after week the Pinkerton family went back to this church and became close to the pastor and his family. They both became very active in the church while 'holding on" for the changes that the Lord had promised her would come, and they did.

Lissa became aware of her gifts and abilities at a young age, but never knew their true purpose until the Lord began to reveal them to her over the past decade. Although the Lord had been preparing her for this time, and sent others to edify her in her call, it was upon hearing another teacher, Kris Vallotton, retell the story of the demon-possessed man's healing in Luke 8 that confirmed her ability to use her gifts to further His kingdom. The man in the story had no seminary training, didn't go to Bible school, and knew nothing of Jesus other than what really mattered to Christ the most. He had an experience with the Lord! A true love encounter! From that encounter alone, Jesus had equipped the man with all he needed in order to go out and tell of the splendor of Jesus! If he could start a ministry on one experience with no formal training, Lissa knew that there could be no end to what she could do through the King through her numerous experiences.

So, Lissa began to listen to and obey the Lord... and has seen great rewards from it. It is her passion to see all come to the Lord and be able to use their own gifts for Him so that they too may lead others to Him as well as benefit from the riches of having His Kingdom come to Earth!

Lissa went on to pursue her love of the Father and attended Bethel School of Ministry in the Chicago area. From there she went on her first mission trip and has since developed a heart for the mission field. She has had the privilege of ministering in Guatemala, Romania and Hungary as well as in many states in the USA. Lissa has performed on professional sound stages, and enjoys writing and acting in plays and dramas, sign language and all types of youth and children’s ministries.

Luke 8; 26- 49
26They sailed to the region of the Gerasenes,[b] which is across the lake from Galilee. 27When Jesus stepped ashore, he was met by a demon-possessed man from the town. For a long time this man had not worn clothes or lived in a house, but had lived in the tombs. 28When he saw Jesus, he cried out and fell at his feet, shouting at the top of his voice, "What do you want with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg you, don't torture me!" 29For Jesus had commanded the evil[c] spirit to come out of the man. Many times it had seized him, and though he was chained hand and foot and kept under guard, he had broken his chains and had been driven by the demon into solitary places.
30Jesus asked him, "What is your name?"  "Legion," he replied, because many demons had gone into him. 31And they begged him repeatedly not to order them to go into the Abyss.
32A large herd of pigs was feeding there on the hillside. The demons begged Jesus to let them go into them, and he gave them permission. 33When the demons came out of the man, they went into the pigs, and the herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake and was drowned.
34When those tending the pigs saw what had happened, they ran off and reported this in the town and countryside, 35and the people went out to see what had happened. When they came to Jesus, they found the man from whom the demons had gone out, sitting at Jesus' feet, dressed and in his right mind; and they were afraid. 36Those who had seen it told the people how the demon-possessed man had been cured. 37Then all the people of the region of the Gerasenes asked Jesus to leave them, because they were overcome with fear. So he got into the boat and left.
38The man from whom the demons had gone out begged to go with him, but Jesus sent him away, saying, 39"Return home and tell how much God has done for you." So the man went away and told all over town how much Jesus had done for him.
